Kalaivani Murugesan, Founder of the Aran Foundation, holds a BE and an MBA from the Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai. She built a successful international career in the IT industry, working across the UK, USA, and India for nearly ten years. Her life took a transformative turn when she closely interacted with children with autism and saw the emotional struggles and practical challenges faced by their parents. Deeply moved, she made the courageous decision to leave her IT profession and dedicate herself fully to supporting children with communication difficulties.
Driven by extensive research and personal involvement, Kalaivani strongly believes that autism can be significantly improved through consistent therapy, structured support, and committed participation from parents. She encourages young parents with the message: “Your child may or may not have autism, but make sure neither you nor your child lives under its weight.” Her guidance empowers families to approach challenges with strength, hope, and clarity.
Kalaivani actively advocates for stress-free learning. She firmly opposes high-pressure, traditional methods that can emotionally burden children—especially in speech therapy. Through the play-way method at Aran, she ensures that children learn communication skills in a natural, happy, and relaxed environment.
